Great thoughts! Found this via Google. I've been thinking about the difference between simplicity and minimalism too.

Glad I found you!

Hey baby girl! How are you? You look so great on the pic! Been thinking and working and thinking and working for the past 2 months, that's why you didn't have any news from me but I'm back!
Wish I could write a loooonnngggg comment to explain why I had to... So many changes in my life since the last time we talk, I had to take a step back and look at all that simplicity theory...
Anyway, hope to hear from you soon, write me a mail, it'll be easier!
Mist you, mist your smile and happiness and joy!
How about your garden? How is it coming?
xx

I use a "Recipes" bookmark folder for keeping links to recipes I like, but that leaves me at risk for losing the recipes if the site owners delete them. So because of that I tend to copy them from the site and paste them into a word or text document to save on my hard drive. Since I've got a laptop it's easy for me to take it into the kitchen with me and read the recipe from the screen. If you've got a desktop computer, printing might actually be the best way to go.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Thanks Jenny! We've got plenty of prickly pears here in AZ but I've never eaten one with a salad. It sounds wonderful!
A good friend of mine, Kelli, taught me how to make prickly pear jelly last year. It was quite an operation!

Beautifully crisp photos, Dena.

When we were living in the south of France a friend showed me how to eat prickly pear. Its jewel-red colour and the shine of the moisture look great with salads or a three-pear desert with avocado and "normal" pear.

I would /love/ a veggie holiday guide. We are ovo-lacto at our house, but need to limit the carbs and saturated fat. I'm looking for a yummy stuffing recipe that uses whole grains. Thanks!
